Conclusion Questions

These questions will help you get a deeper understanding of the meaning of the lab and allow you to apply your results and understand what they represent. These are in no way the end all of this topic and I encourage you to continue with an even deeper dive into this topic. and its application glabally.

  1. What if anything surprised you about your data? Did you think you were better at disposing of  than you actually were? If so, do you think this same misleading thought applies universally to people?

  2. After completing this lab do you think you will try to change your habits? Do you think you could convince others to improve their habits as well? Do you think that people will make changes to their lifestyle to combat this problem?

  3. Do you think your results are a good representation of the nation's disposal habits as a whole?  What environmental effects would this have if people everywhere disposed like you observed?

  4. Does the fact that you can't see the issues that are caused by your disposal habits affect your desire to change them? Do you think such a disconnect between cause and effect cause this problem to continue?

  5. What are some examples of things being done to combat this issue? What are some ways that you could help combat this problem? Can this problem even be combatted, why not?
